The Automated Attendant is like having your own receptionist handling all of your incoming calls. Route your calls based on the incoming telephone number, time of day, Caller ID of the incoming call, caller input, and more.
Automatic Call Distributor (ACD)
The Automatic Call Distributor uses a combination of strategies to advance callers to different tiers of extensions or groups of extensions.
Business Continuity
With Business Continuity, your phone system will continue handling calls even if the power is out at your office. Further, your faxes, voicemails, and recorded calls remain securely stored with Amp Telecom regardless what may happen at the office.
Busy Lamp Field (BLF) / Presence
The Busy Lamp Fields are generally the little LED lights on telephones that are associated with extensions.
Call Barging
Call Barging is the ability to join a call that is being monitored (listened to) with Call Monitoring.
Call Blocking
Call Blocking allows you to block incoming and outbound calls. Calls can be blocked based on area code, phone number, international calls, or services such as information or 411.
Call Detail Report & Export
View and export up to 3 months of inbound and outbound call details. The details include the date and time of the call, the duration of the call, the caller, and the recipient of the call.
Caller ID
Caller ID is caller information that is transmitted during phone calls, consisting of the telephone number of a caller and the name associated with that telephone number.
Call Forwarding
Call Forwarding gives you the ability to transfer incoming calls to another destination. The destination can be another extension or an outside telephone number.
Call Hunting
Call Hunting tries ringing predetermined extensions in a sequential manner until the call is answered or the call runs out of extensions to try.
Call Menus (Virtual Receptionist / Interactive Voice Response / IVR)
Call Menus are technically known as Interactive Voice Response (IVR). A Call Menu is a pre-recorded list of choices a caller can select to be routed to the correct department.
Call Monitoring
Call Monitoring gives the ability of one extension to monitor the conversation of another extension.
Call Parking
Call Parking transfers a call to a temporary extension so that you or someone else can pick the call back up from a different phone or extension. For example, Jane is on a call with Bob and would like for Adam to grab the call, but he’s not at his desk. Jane uses the Call Parking feature, and the system let’s her know that the extension number of the parked call is 1234. Once Jane finds Adam in the hall, she lets Adam knows that Bob’s call is at extension 1234. Adam dials extension 1234 from his desk phone and he is immediately connected to Bob.
Call Queues
Call Queues place your callers in an ordered line until your next available employee can take the call.
Call Recording
Call Recording allows employees to manually record calls whenever the need arises..
Call Screening
Call Screening prompts a caller for their name and plays it back for you before connecting you to the caller. You then have the option of taking the call or sending it to voicemail without alerting the caller.
Call Whispering
Call Whispering allows a manager to actively monitor a telephone conversation between two participants and speak to one of the participants (usually the employee) without the other participant hearing what is being said.
Conference Bridging
Conference bridging is used for call conferencing where the participants of the conference dial into a specific telephone number to join the call.
Conference Calling (N-Way Calling)
Conference Calling is the ability to add multiple participants into your phone conversation.
